Sanford "Sam" Mesecher | Farrier | Father from a Goldendale Pioneer Family

I am the father of three fine sons, grown and now beginning their own careers. My horses are now my family. They fill that empty spot.

I graduated from Goldendale High School. After working in the metal industry for eight years, I found myself unemployed after a plant closure. Blessed with keen eyesight I have always been good at detail. A great help becoming a Farrier and Blacksmith.

A love of horses and county life guided me into hoof care.

I completed a Farrier course with EES | trained at Walla Walla Comunity College where I made Dean's List.

I returned home, began my Farrier business providing hoof care to equine owners in both Oregon | Washington.
